Lebole Maison is pleased to present a project created in collaboration with the cultural association METS Percorsi D'Arte. 

The exhibition, hosted by the Castello di Novara, will be dedicated to some of the most well-known and loved Italian artists by the general public, known internationally as Les italiens de Paris, first and foremost Giovanni Boldini and Giuseppe de Nittis.

The era between the second half of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the new century coincided with the rise of the new bourgeois class, and was a particularly happy moment for figurative art. In that period, favored by the change in clients, the artists were finally able to enjoy a freedom of expression hitherto unknown.

The exhibition itinerary, divided into eight sections, follows the progression of the evocative rooms of the Castle and aims to illustrate, through fast-paced and stimulating comparisons, the work of the most successful Italian painters active in Paris in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries .

For Galleria Borghese Lebole creates a line of nine pairs of earrings that reproduce some of the masterpieces on display: Le Moulin de la Galette by Federico Zandomeneghi, Le due Bambole by Antonio Mancini, Le Istitutrici ai Campi Elisi by Vittorio Corcos, Nel Grano and A corner of the Piazza della Concordia in Paris by Giueseppe de Nittis, Portrait of Countess Speranza, Girl with the Black Cat, Lady reclining on a bèrgere and Portrait of Madame X by Giovanni Boldini.

The earrings are made with flat capsules printed on tinplate, mounted in gold-plated brass and natural stones. The flat caps used are nothing more than the metal disks found in the upper part of the cage that holds the corks of the champagne bottles before being stuffed.
The jewels are rigorously worked and produced in Italy.
