The main motif of the Gothic Bell Collection is a small, tulip-shaped bell with four petals decorated in the same style as the mother collection: The Gothic Romantic.
Bells have always been connected to magic or religious rituals. The tinkle of the bell protects and summons up gods to keep away the forces of evil, keeping the forces of good close by. During the Gothic period bells were used to gather people together and to incite people to battle; they were a symbol of strength and power, and when a new bell was consecrated and installed the faithful celebrated and brought gifts. Our small bells are decorated with coloured stones of different shapes to suggest the same sense of celebration.
The materials used are the same: gold galvanised silver and natural stones.
